BLAIR FAMILY TRIP 2007 - WHISTLER, B.C.
Hudson was a real trooper on the drive up to Whistler. Peter and I planned it just right...or did we get lucky. Hudson slept for almost the first three hours to Vancouver, where we had lunch and walked around for a couple of hours. Hudson's next nap fell just in time for the next portion of the drive, which was about two and one half hours.
The house we stayed at was nestled between the upper and main village...perfect location. On Monday, we were supposed to go white water rafting while mimi (Mary) and pops (Allen) were going to watch Hudson. We all got up early, hustled down to the main village only to find out the main road to the river had been washed out and we needed to reschedule the trip. I think Allen was more disappointed than anyone...he really wanted Hudson to himself.
On Tuesday, Brian, Hudson, and I all drove Peter to Vancouver to catch a flight to New York for his fellowship. This is the reason there are very few photos from this trip. Hudson was a bit of a handful...and I am the one who always takes the photos.
Hudson and I finally found some grass to play on.

Once again, we attempted to go white water rafting...mimi and pops were ready for their day alone with Hudson. Again, the message was that the road was still washed out...we had enough and went to another company and left for the day. Hudson had a wonderful time with mimi and pops and I had some adult type fun.
Hey, look a what I can do.
Hudson is demonstrating how flexible he is. Once he actually fell asleep this way and I tried to take a photo, but he woke up because I was laughing to loud.
