Snow Tubing w/The Kleins

Cohen first explosure to snow since he was able to walk.

Introducing Jackson, Chris, & Beret

The boys loved snow tubing. On the first run, Peter rode with Cohen and they were both scared **itless, but then again I was just as scared watching them go down the hill. Peter positioned himself in a strange way that made them very unsteady.

Cohen fit perfectly in the tube.

Hudson didn't have any hesitations about going down the hill, he loved it.

Christmas Morning

It's not the best photo...but it's Hudson's first look at all the presents under the tree.

Hudson woke up around 5:00 a.m. on Christmas morning, but I don't believe he remembered it was Christmas morning. Peter convinced Hudson to watch a movie in his bedroom so Cohen and I could sleep a little longer. Thank you Peter. I walked into Hudson room and asked him if he thought Santa left presents under the tree. He jumped up and bolted down the stairs.

Checking out all the gifts

Both boys were attracted to the same gift which happen to be a gift for Peter. They patiently waited for Peter to open a gift before they got to. Amazing.

Hudson only asked for three gift from Santa, an alligator, a talking Woody & Buzz Light Year. When he opened Woody he was so excited.

The hard thing about photos at Chrismas time is everyone is always looking down at their presents. You can catch a glimpse of his mouth...it was twice as wide as you can imagine. Hudson did not ask for this gift...but after looking for over almost 2 months, we finally found "Rex" the dinasaur from the movie "Toy Story".

Cohen didn't really ask for anything for Christmas...but he sure has enjoyed all the new toys.

Twist on the Classical Unrolling of the Toliet Paper

While having lunch as Blue C Sushi, Hudson and I went to use the washroom. We entered the stall and Hudson decided that I would go first. It was one of those washroom visit where it too late when you notice there is no toilet paper. I decided to take the risk of asking Hudson to walk over to the next stall and get me some toilet paper. To my surprise he was more than willing. I would hear his footsteps heading in the correct direction...success...I am going to get my toilet paper. Then I hear the devilish giggle and Hudson comes running back into my stall toilet paper flying behind him still attached to the roll.

The best thing about kids...they continually make you laugh.

Nighttime Wonders

About 4:00 a.m. Peter and I hear Hudson saying "No, No, Stop It." so Peter walks into the boys room to check on Hudson. To his surprise, he finds Cohen sitting on Hudson's pillow, one hand holding Hudson's hair and the other hand continually hitting Hudson on the head. Hudson doesn't really appear to be awake and falls back into a deep sleep as soon as Peter removes Cohen from his bed. The crazy thing is that Peter picks up Cohen, tucks him back into bed and Cohen immediately falls back asleep...as if he was never awake.

Cohen's First Words

Aside from the standard babbling from Cohen, He decided about 3 weeks ago to say his first word. Cohen and I were lying on the bed and he was playing with my iPhone. On the back of the iPhone is the apple symbol. Cohen pointed at it and followed with the noise he makes when he wants to say "What's that?". I told him it was an apple and as crisp as could be he repeated me and said "apple". I excitedly called for Peter and we were able to get him to say it again. About an hour later we called Grandma Marge via speaker phone in the Benz and were telling her this story and once again...very crisp...Cohen shouts out from the back seat "Apple".

On Wednesday, November 25 (Peter's Birthday), Cohen comes home from school repeating the words "Ashes, Ashes" over and over with the song like twist to it. It took us a while to figure out why he was saying ashes, ashes...and then it dawned on me that he was singing Ring Around the Rosie.

From that point on until Sunday, November 29, Cohen has been quietly saying a bunch of words like ball, shoes, mama, etc.

The funny, adorable moment was on Monday, November 30 (Traci's Birthday). Three out of the fours of us celebrate our birthdays within two weeks during the month of November so let's just say you hear the song Happy Birthday about a million times during those two weeks. When I got home from work, I put Cohen in the bath with lots of bubbles...which usually turns into a birthday cake according to Hudson. Anyway, we are once again singing Happy Birthday and out of no where when the room gets quiet...Cohen begins to talk/sing "Appy Birthththda to Uuu" followed by a smile and then a blowing motion and noise out of his mouth as if he is going to blow out the candles. Cohen repeated this several times which simply made the rest of the family thrilled beyond anything. Adorable...Precious...Where is the video camera...Wait...we don't have one...why?...Not sure...

Hudson's Birthday

Silly boy...wanted to go back to sleep on the changing table.

Sorry Folks...not too many birthday (actual day) photos this year. Hudson began ill on Monday night and I stayed home with him on Tuesday, Peter came home from Baltimore on Tuesday (late night) and then stayed home with Hudson on Wednesday. All in all...Hudson had a wonderful birthday filled with many joyous celebrations. Thanks to all for the lovely gifts, Hudson is enjoying everyone of them. For those of you who sent cash...we decided to let Hudson spend his birthday money this year instead of putting it into his savings account. I am curious to see what he will pick out. Much Love.
